Little Tokyo

I think there is a debate about what is considered "Little Tokyo" in New York, as with China Town. But anyway, when I was there, I was walking through St Marks Pl and someone told me that this was one of the streets which they call "Little Tokyo". Actually, the concentration of Japanese restaurants per square meter is high. The street is very close to Washington Square and NYU (New York University) so in some ways it is also a very young university area. I ate twice at restaurants on this street and they were very well priced. I think the food came to about 10-12 dollars per person for loads of raw fish maki, sushi and sashimi.
