One of the most favourite cities

Porto Vecchio is one of the most famous cities of Corsica and also the most touristy. Every year thousands of people come up here, especially in summer, to enjoy the sun, beach and party, three things that are never lacking in this city. Many believe that in addition to these three elements, Porto Vecchio has an overwhelming beauty and considered one of the most beautiful cities of the island. Unfortunately, not my case. Maybe I expected too much and was subsequently disappointed, but I think there are far more unknown beautiful cities in Corsica. Anyway, what can not be denied is that this city has a great atmosphere and is fully serviced, so those wishing to spend a holiday here will not have any regrets. In Porto Vecchio there are three clearly different areas with the Citadel, the most touristy place, the harbor, full of nightclubs and, finally, the modern city. The modern city is situated around an immense avenue for the most expensive shops in the city. This is a great place for fashion lovers because they are all designer shops. In recent years huge malls have marred pretty Porto Vecchio, especially in its suburbs, although there have allowed many more services to become available to tourists. In this part of the city there are numerous hotels, slightly cheaper than those in within the citadel. I say cheaper, because Porto Vecchio is not exactly cheap, on the contrary, it is one of the most expensive cities in the island. You must pay for the glamour Ah! I forgot to say that although Porto Vecchio has no beaches, nearby, you can find the best beaches on the island. Yes, in summer many go so you must go early if you want to get a place.
