Great hotel with all the amenities at a good standard. There is a buffet with drinks included, a large pool and spacious rooms. Also it is close to the beach. I recommend it and if you go with children even better.
The La Najarra is a 3 star hotel in the center of Almuñecar, a few meters from San Cristobal beach. It has 40 well appointed rooms, tennis court, pool, restaurant, disabled facilities and other services.
We had a phenomenal time. The staff was attentive, the 2 bedrooms suites were very spacious, the cuisine was haute and it was good value for money. I highly recommend it. It's 100 meters from the city center. There's a pool and fantastic gardens.
In San Cristobal Beach, on the Costa Tropical Almuñecar, Granada, Casablanca Hotel is a Mediterranean hotel. The hotel has soundproofed rooms with private balconies that have wonderful views of the Mediterranean. Other amenities include wi-fi, safe, TV, air conditioning and desks. The Casablanca Hotel is located only 47 meters from The Hawthorns Park and 300 meters from Sirius Sculpture Park. It also has easy access to the wonderful Written Rock Nature Reserve which is only an hour's drive away.
We went on vacation this year and stayed at the Hotel Helios. It's one of the best in Almuñecar, mainly because of the staff's friendliness, both in reception and in the dining room, as well as the cleaning ladies. It's very clean and very nice. The food was exceptional. The San Cristobal Beach is right in front of the beach. Its waters are a delight in the month of July. About 2 kilometres down the beach, there is the "Playa de Muerto", which is a nudist beach, which is also very nice. I recommend it to everyone. Greetings.
As its name suggests, El Palacete del Corregidor is a palace-like structure dating back hundreds of years in the narrow, winding alleyways of Almuñecar's old town. The rooms have a rustic Andalusian charm with tile work, heavy wooden furniture, and a minimalist tone empasizing timeless quality over gimmicks. It's also got a lovely patio with flowering plants and a Moorish fountain. The other highlights are the Andalusian-style bathrooms (which are almost as big as the bedroom itself) that are open, airy, and clean. We had an excellent night's rest with no noise from the streets seeping in and the older gentleman manning the desk was about as sweet and helpful as we could have asked. Highly recommended!
Hotel and Apartments are well equipped, there is a lot of crowds during weekends, in pools and kitchens. You need a car if you want to move, as it is in a resort and far away from everything. The pools are good, the worst is the evening entertainment. Breakfast is good but low quality for lunch and dinner, too much frozen and little variety.
