3 reviews of Chalet da Condessa D'Edla

A lovely place

Picturesque, romantic, straight out of a fairy tale. Accessed by a small stone path reminiscent of traditional floats walks. Upon arrival you find this villa amid the oaks that seem to come out of nowhere - a really magical atmosphere. As well as the house, you should take a walk around the gardens and climb the stones for a view of the sea. It was built between 1864 and 1869, as a token of the love that existed between D. Fernando II and the Countess d'Edla, Elise Hensler, his second wife.
