A Cross in Guadalteba Interpretation Centre

In the Castle of the Star in Teba lies the interpretive center of Una Cruzade en Guadalhorce which documents the event that occurred in 1330, when an army from Castile, Leon, Aragon and Portugal, joined by a group of Scottish knights, fought against the border castles grenadine (Cañete, Teba, Ardales and Turon). During the siege of the fortress of Teba, the knight Sir James Douglas was killed. The center presents data from the battle and documents its significance during the fourteenth and fifteenth century. They say the movie "Breaheart" was inspired by the event.
