Acapulco Bay

Given that it's close to Mexico City, it's no surprise that Acapulco is a popular destination for beach weekends. On my most recent visit, I found a small secluded beach in the nearby town of Pichilingue. If your hotel isn't nearby, you can take a taxi to Puerto Marques, and then a boat. You can tour the bay and go snorkeling. There are a couple of local hotels, B Pichilingue and Camino Real, within walking distance. Get there early to enjoy the day. Bon Voyage!
