This tower was built 1855-1870, as a memorial to Queen Victoria and is 113 meters high. One side has a statue of Prince Albert and being situated near the docks it was always frequented by prostitutes waiting for sailors. The clock was damaged by a bomb in 1992.

Victoria Street (as) we found a small surprise. The Albert Memorial Clock Tower was constructed all by 1865 to try to alleviate the nostalgia Sentan officials and businessmen of the city of London and to remind the royal husband of Queen Victoria, the prince Alberto. If we approach a little we see that is slightly tilted as it is lifted on land stolen from the river that can barely hold it. This fact has been called the Tower of Pisa Belfast. Being located near the docks, the tower was once famous for being frequented by prostitutes ejercan his trade with the sailors, however, in recent years the recovery of the area has become the Queen Square in a really attractive space, with parks, gardens and sculptures. Apart from its curious inclination, the tower is adorned with a statue of prince Alberto, as well as elaborately carved crowned lions and floral decorations. Above all, the tower houses a bell of two tons and areas of a clock that had to be repaired because it was badly daado by a bomb that the IRA coloc in its nearby 24 years ago. One of the essentials for their curiosity by visiting Belfast city locations.
