Andric is a cultural project in the town of Visegrad which was designed and implemented by the well-known director and filmmaker Emir Kusturica and supported by the Serbian Government.

The historical complex is built on the banks of the Drina River in honor of the Yugoslav Nobel Prize-winning author Ivo Andric who made a significant contribution to world literature. Within the city-museum there are numerous cafes, restaurants, museums, theaters, churches (including the King Lazar Orthodox Church), and monuments to Ivo Andric and Petar Petrovic Njegos.

If you visit Andric, take the opportunity to cruise the Drina River in the mini-boats which depart from the docks. Also, there are several excellent restaurants serving local dishes like traditional kebabs. In Andrić, many cultural and social events take place and attract large numbers of tourists.
