Archeologic Civic Museum

The Archaeological Museum (Nicotera) is in the upper rooms of Castello Ruffo and presents a collection of locally sourced materials, which covers the chronological period from prehistory to the Middle Ages. It offers exhibits on Ancient Greek in which the seaman of the war had to be Nicotera Emporion of the Opus colony. The room of the Museum has a collection of coins and medieval pottery fragments and several pieces of Roman pottery of the fourth century BC.
