Restaurante Astória

This restaurant is in the central square, opposite the Bank of Portugal. It's a busy site, like the other restaurants in the area, so it can be difficult to find a table, depending on what time you arrive. The restaurant is quite large, with several floors and modern black and white decor, contrasting with the rustic look of the stone interior walls. It has several dining rooms on the top floor, and a lounge with leather sofas where you can have a drink. But if the weather permits, people often prefer to sit outside on the terrace.

The menu is basically Italian, with a variety of pasta dishes, salads, meat and fish, seafood, rice, and gazpacho.
