One of the biggest French museums

The Bonnat Museum is one of the biggest French museums. It is in the center of Bayonne in a building of architecture from the year 1900. It was designed to hold the works collected by Léon Bonnat, artist and collector, who gave it to his hometown. In its rooms one can find paintings, sculptures and drawings of the most notable artists such as Rubens, El Greco, Murillo, Goya, Ingres, Degas, etc. The cabinet of drawings is internationally renowned. This is a lovely museum in a city with a special charm.
