A beautifully warm and colourful area
The French province of Brittany is a peninsula extending into the Atlantic Ocean with the English Channel to the north and the Bay of Biscay to the south. It is a beautifully warm and colourful area. I was able to visit for a day, just enough time to take a look at the Breton coast, and I immediately wanted to go back for two or three days to visit one of their villages, full of small bars where you drink cider from cups! In Brittany, people speak French as the official language, but also two other languages: Breton and The Romance language, which also derives from today's French. Rennes is this area's capital, but there are small towns to visit on your way to the coast.
