O Parque da Cachoeira, também conhecido como "Passo do Inferno" é um lugar fantástico para quem gosta de atividades junto à natureza. Localizado no interior de Canela, RS, o parque oferece inúmeras escolhas do que fazer que vão desde hospedagem até trilhas na floresta nativa, rapel, pêndulo da ponte sobre o rio Cará, cabo aéreo. Para você ter uma ideia, as atrações já começam antes de entrar no parque, pois tem uma ponte de ferro onde passa um veículo por vez. Sobre ela já dá para ver a grande fenda que se forma por entre os morros e uma cachoeira ao fundo. Ao lado direito da guarita de entrada tem uma "escada de piscinas" contruídas mas com águas que vêem morro abaixo e inundam essas piscinas e desaguam no rio Cará. O local tem estacionamento próprio, loja de conveniência e um pequeno restaurante com banheiros masculino e feminino. O atendimento é muito bom e feito pelos proprietários do local. Descendo por uma das trilhas, encontramos umas das principais atrações do parque que é uma cachoeira. Pode-se chegar bem perto dela pois foram feitos caminhos com pontes e pedras para facilitar o acesso. Ao mesmo nível de onde começam a cair as águas da cachoeira, fica o ponto de onde sai a gaiola para o outro morro para a prática da tirolesa. Ótimo para curtir com a família e amigos além de vários pontos distribuídos pelo parque para um bom piquenique. Resumindo, o lugar é muito lindo e propício para vários dias de distração e descanso. Recomendo não só pela natureza mas também pelos valores das atividades e hospedagens atrativos.
