Campoamor Theatre

The Campoamor is one of the most internationally well known buildings in Oviedo, due to the Prince of Asturias Awards that take place there every year. Located in the historical heart of the city, the building occupies the entire block. Today, it is the cultural reference point of Oviedo, owing to it's many concerts, theatre performances, operettas and ballets and, every year from September to December, its opera season, where I was lucky enough to attend a modern performance of Turandot. The theatre seats up to 1440 spectators.
