A great trail
The Caples Track is one of the many trails that begin north of Lake Wakatipu, near Kinloch, Glenorchy, and about fifty kilometres from the famous town Queenstown, Otago. There are two shelters along the way. The last day, passing through the "McKellar Saddle", is physically more demanding, but is also more beautiful in terms of the landscape. On the way back, I advise using the Greenstone Track (2 days) or the magnificent Routerburn Track (3 days).
