Caravanserai of Sultanhani

The caravanserais have been used since the tenth century. Its translation is "Caravan Palace". They provided accommodation and other services free for three days, for traders, and stables for animals. During the time of the Seljuk sultans, the construction of these buildings increased, because they depended much of the safety of trade routes. There is a small mosque in the center of the courtyard, surrounded by rooms, warehouses, bathhouse and bathrooms. It is fairly well preserved.
