Cayo Muerto

Our first day in Venezuela we decided to go to the Morrocoy National Park. To do this you have to stop at Tucacas or Chichiriviche, and we decided stop in the latter as it is smaller and cheaper. There we took a small boat to go to Cayo Muerto (the Keys are simply small islands) that was the closest to Chichiriviche. It has an abundance of palm trees, crystal clear and calm water but coldl. Importantly, the beach is a mangrove and you can see a host of colourful fish when you snorkel.
