Chapel of the Merits and Virtues

The Chapel of the Merits and Virtues is located in one of the side chapels of the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees and contains a golden Buddha. It was built in the late eleventh century, although it has undergone several restorations since, most notably after a huge fire almost destroyed the entire temple in which it was located.
