El Palacio Gavotti surge en el centro histórico medieval de Savona, y es ahora la sede de la Pinacoteca cívica. El edificio fue construido en el siglo XVII sobre estructuras medievales preexistentes, y su nombre deriva de la familia Gavotti, que fue propietaria de este magnífico palacio. El edificio fue comprado el 12 diciembre 1861 por el municipio de Savona que estableció la sede del Ayuntamiento, hasta 1934 cuando se trasladó a la plaza Sisto IV. Alberga variadas piezas de distintos estilos y en unas instalaciones algo antiguas, no obstante es recomendable su visita.

The Palace Gavotti arises in the medieval center of Savona, and is now the headquarters of the civic Pinacoteca. The building was built in the seventeenth century on preexisting medieval structures, and its name derives Gavotti family, who owned this magnificent palace. The building was purchased on December 12, 1861 by the municipality of Savona, which established the Town Hall, until 1934 when he moved to the square Sisto IV. It houses various pieces of different styles and some old facilities, however it is recommended visit.
