Civico Ingauno Museum

Civic EMuseo ingauno (Savona ,The Archaeological Museum), situated in the Palazzo del Comune Vecchio, Albingaunum presents the history of ancient Roman and Byzantine inscriptions,with urns and stone fragments. La Loggia, built in 1421, has a tiled floor from the first century AD. An imperial marble puteal from the late medieval era, and ancient inscriptions brought together by the town of Albenga. On the back wall is the great fresco of the Crucifixion by Giovanni Canavesio, from the late fifteenth century. Museum takes you to the Baptistery, one the most important early Christian monuments in Liguria.
