Located on the edge of the French Quarter of New Orleans, bounded by the famous Canal Street with its unmistakable red tram, the Convention District is a neighborhood that we loved exploring. It has an international feel, with malls as well as local shops, leisure centers, a huge casino, a cinema ... a good place to "let the good times roll" as they say in Louisiana, once you've finished exploring the more cultural French Quarter.
