Devil's Bridge

According to the legend of the Devil's Bridge of Borgo a Mozzano, the builder who was responsible for the construction of this bridge came to see that he could never finish the construction in the allotted time, and as he was very afraid of the consequences that this delay will have on his honor and family, he called on the Devil for help to be able to finish quicker. The devil would help on one condition: "the first soul to cross the bridge would be for him." The mason and the devil entered into this agreement and the bridge was completed in one night. But the builder regretted his decision and denied access to the bridge for the villagers and went to confession to the church in his village.
