Dunnottar Castle

During the few months I lived in Arbroath, a small fishing village on the east coast of Scotland, in the North Sea I sometimes took the opportunity to escape to Stonehaven for the day. I really liked the settlement for its gate as much as its fantastic views. Its major attraction is the castle. It can give you great views if you are lucky enough to visit on a sunny day. Just like the beach cliffs, go along the coastal cliffs and the views are excellent. There is an entrance fee. To get here you can come by train from Aberdeen, Arbroath or Dundee.
