Chester Railway Station

2 reviews of Chester Railway Station

English monument

The station was built between 1847 and 1848, and the building, designed by Francis Thompson, has been declared a Grade II listed monument. It is built of brick and sandstone, with slate roofs, in the Italianate style. Its location is very convenient, just a short walk from the Roman walls of the city.
