1 review of Estate Mundaca

Estate Mundaca

Mundaka is a hacienda built by Fermín Mudaca of Marecheaga, a pirate and slave trader, in love with a native nicknamed The Trigueña, he took refuge in Isla Mujeres after campaigns against the British Navy in 1860. He built the estate for her, but the girl rejected his love. It is on the road near the Garrafón before Boatmen Beach and Paradise Beach. Admission is inexpensive, less than a dollar, but the estate is small and there are no great attractions beyond the crazy pirate love story. We spent a long time watching some monkeys.
