Located in the heart of Downtown and known for its huge buildings (though not quite as high or impressive as New York) and many international companies and institutions, F street is one of the main shopping streets of the federal capital. You can find many major national and international retailers and a giant Macy's (sort of similar to the Lafayette galleries in France). It's great for shoppers!
