1 review of Fintry Beach

On the coast opposite the main land...

Excellent

On the coast opposite the main land with the village of Largs lies, hidden among rocks and flora, like for example the "Thistle" or Flower of Scotland, the small beach that belongs to Fintry Bay. That is why it shares the same name. It is a small beach with very blue water and a stony ground, but also very quiet, and it offers the ability to walk or sit for a while to contemplate depending of course on the Scottish weather like other outer islands such as Bute. Hopefully mostly during low seasons where there is not too much unnatural noise you might be given the opportunity to see puffins, dolphins, whales and even the occasional seal.
