Gateshead Millennium Bridge

There is no doubt that one of the things that give Newcastle Gateshead a special charm is the river and, of course, its five bridges which link the two cities and turn them into just one, somewhat like Budapest. And amongst these bridges, the most noteworthy is clearly the Millennium Bridge, a work of engineering that is raised so wonderfully and lets boats pass underneath. In addition, the bridge is right in front of two of the most important buildings of the city and the Quayside, the nightlife and dining district par excellence of recent years in the city.
