Prima

Prima is an institution amongst Newcastle's restaurants. It has been open for about 10 years underneath the bridge where the trains leave the station going up north. Prima is a fairly large restaurant but has a nice atmosphere and is perfect for dinner with friends. For wedding dinner, it's not recommended since it's better with a small group. Prima has a selection of pizzas and pastas, but also antipasti, Italian tapas, which are easily shared, or are nibbles if you're not hungry. Being near the sea, we are also offered a wide variety of fish, prawns and seafood. A full meal costs about £12 which constitutes a drink, pizza plus a starter or dessert.
