Golf Club Islantilla

The Islantilla Golf Course is considered one of the hundred best courses in Europe. It is located in a residential area about 1.5 km from the seafront, in a unique field surrounded by pine forests and situated on a kind of hill, so to follow the course you must past through neighboring private developments several times. Many inhabitants have little garden chalets adjoining the course alongside certain holes, which was a major complaint at the time of the sale of the property. The course was built in parts, occupies an area of 73 acres, and now has 27 holes plus a practice tee, a great chipping green with three bunkers and two putting greens.
