Gadamur

Guadamur is a village located at the foot of a splendid stretch of earth, nicely renovated and built during the Middle Ages on the site of a Moorish tower. Notables passed through it, people like Juana la Loca and Cardinal Cisneros. It served as a prison to the princess of Eboli, the disturbing aristocratic with the eye patch. The people are of Arab origin but the village retains few Moorish vestiges. Its most important buildings are the church of the XVI and two chapels. In the village you can visit an ethnographic museum that describes the peculiar life in the region of Montes de Toledo. Cottages Guadamur: Http :/ /
