London - Heathrow Airport

Along with Gatwick Airport, Heathrow Airport is the largest centre of London air traffic. Heathrow is in SE England, about 25 miles from central London. It is the headquarters of British Airways, and has all airport services, restaurants, shops, public transport connection to the city, taxis, trains, airport lounges, etc.. Last summer, on our way to Chicago, we transfered at Heathrow. Waiting for more than 5 h could have spent a couple of hours in London, but in the end we decided to stay in Terminal 5. London has five airports: London City, London Luton, London Stansted, London Gatwick and London Heathrow. The latter has 5 terminals, which you can reach by subway and by Heathrow Express. The new terminal, T5 is where the British Airways flights departure from. It's very similar to the Terminal 4 in the Madrid airport, with a train that connects the B and C gates to the main building.
