A luxury resort
When returning from the Buddha, I went to Chaweng Beach, stopping at places that seemed interesting. High on a hill, I saw a deserted beach and decided to check it out. The beach was privately owned by a hotel, Bhundhari Spa Resort. It's a high-priced luxury resort, prohibitively priced by Thai standards. I was impressed by the quality of the hotel and its prime location, and spent a few hours on the beach.
