Huguenot Society
The Huguenot Society of America was founded in 1883 by Alfredo V. Wittmeyer, Rector of the Church of France in New York and a descendant of the Hugenots. Its first president was John Jay II, grandson of the first Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.
