Idalvo's Peixes & Frutos do Mar

Idalvo's Peixes & Frutos do Mar is located on Rua Erasmo Braga in the Bonfim neighborhood of Campinas. Created by five brothers, Idalvo's has been one of the most popular restaurant in town for the past 23 years. The menu is seafood-oriented, with a selection of fish, shellfish, cod, and salads. The boss, Hector, is Portuguese and every Wednesday offers a different chef's special which he sends out to customers via email.The waiters were very attentive and offered us some complimentary snacks like crab cakes and an aperitif of good Brazilian cachaca. They also serve the best grilled cod in town.
