The Trinity Church is located in a quiet and remote place, in the park behind the statue of Mihai Viteazul, in the great square. The church was originally built in the eighteenth century by the Stirbey family, it has been restored several times since, after the earthquake of 1838 by Catalina Bibescu and his son, Chancellor Ştirbei Barbu, and in 1890 according to the plans of architect Lecomte de Nouy.
