1 review of Saint Thomas Church

Small church

Excellent

This small church offers one of the best examples in the Alsace region of the Gothic style. The highlight of the church is the Silbermann organ that dates from 1741 and on which a certain Mozart could have played. The gravestones and tombs including the Tomb of Marshal Saxe sculpted by Pigalle in 1777 are also quite stunning and impressive. I strongly advise visitors to take a tour of "La Petite Cathédrale" (The Little Cathedral), as it is known by the people that live there.
