Jorge Alessandri Park

Since its inception in the year 1993, the Educational Park Jorge Alessandri has been funded by Forest Mininco, a subsidiary of CMPC, and supported by the Ministry of Education through the Cultural Donations Law. Since the year 2000, with the creation of the CMPC Foundation, the park focuses its aim to culture and education, being an educational center in forestry and environment with the aim to bring the itself closer to its community and connect to the VIII Region, where the biggest forest estate can be found. The community has shown a sustained growth, allowing the period of the years 1993 - 2003, the beneficiaries of this initiative 631million for 275 people.
