14 reviews of Jungfrau

The roof of Europe

Jungfraunch is region in Switzerland where you can find villages such as Murren, Brienz, Interlaken ... Etc. It's a fabulous and beautiful area where you can visit one of the few remaining glaciers. Interlaken is the most important town in the region and from there you can visit many other various places. It is situated between Zurich and Bern.

Ascent to Jungfraug was insane

The ascent to Jungfraug was insane, we force ourselves to climb on the highest cog railway in Europe, to a height of almost 4000m. It was the middle of August and there were breathtaking views from above and surrounded by snow. The ascent in the train was economically costly but it was the year the Spanish champeons of Europe was held in the countries of Switzerland and Austia, as a reward all the Spanish wanted up on the rack, we were doing 75% off in the end deserved really worth climbing. There are incredible landscapes, from glaciers, valleys, although you can't walk there. Recommendable.
