Kenrokuen Onsen

The onsen, Japanese public baths, are a real passion of mine. The locals think it's quite strange that I, as a westerner, frequent them. They are quite popular among young girls, but most of the men who go are fairly old. There are separate sections for men and women, tubs with different temperatures, and the rotenburo, the outdoor bathtub. Westerners are welcomed, and tattoos (often prohibited in these places) are not a problem. I can't find the address, but if you ask at your hotel, they'll probably be able to help you.
