Nice Decoration

When you visit San Sebastian you must go to the 31 de Agosto Street, the nerve center of the old downtown, where you will find the biggest concentration of pinchos bars per square meter.
La Cepa Bar distinguishes itself for its excellent Iberian ham. We’ve only had the opportunity to taste the pinchos, since it’s always super full.

The decoration is eye-catching, a mix of kitsch styles. There is the Spanish style with the hams hanging from the walls, in the roof there is a crystal chandelier, iron lamps and lanterns, wall clocks from different time periods, as well as different antiquities

Delicious!

This restaurant caught our attention while we were walking along the historical downtown because at around 6 pm it was already full!

In the hotel they told us that it was a timeless famous restaurant. We went there for dinner and we were lucky to find a free table. The menu is quite expensive, especially the meat and fish, so we ordered a salad with tuna belly, eight pinchos and a bottle of txacolí (typical white wine).

Everything was very good and we payed 20 Euros per person. The cold meats looked amazing, especially the Iberian ham plate, that was 20 Euros, or 11 Euros half plate.
