La Marina District

Hondarribia is a magical city that leaves no-one indifferent to its charms. It is also one of the few towns that has two old towns, the old town itself and the marina district. The marina district is perhaps the most spectacular part of the town. It is like a fishing village and is located between the town center and the sea. It is a beautiful area consisting of streets of typical fishermens' houses. These small houses are painted in different colors, especially blue, green and red and have windows full of geraniums in a thousand colors. The result is truly spectacular. It feels like you have just delved into a children's story book full of color and joy, a very magical area.
