La Mauny Distillery

Situata tra le verdeggianti colline delle alture di Riviere Pilote, la distilleria Le Mauny produce il rhum agricolo più consumato in Martinica. Oltre agli immancabili acquisti e degustazioni nella Cabane à Rhum, è interessante la visita allo stabilimento di produzione, possibile solamente tramite visite guidate ad orari prestabiliti; invece l'accesso al parco, in cui sono esposti gli antichi attrezzi agricoli e i macchinari, è libero. Simpatico il cartellone pubblicitario a forma di bottiglia di rhum in cui infilare la testa e farsi fotografare con il proprio viso che sostituisce quello della signorina dell'etichetta.. Ovviamente io non ho mancato all'appello! Aperto dal lunedi al venerdi e il sabato mattina.

Le parcours se termine bien entendu par une dégustation des différents produits proposés à la vente (rhum blanc, rhum vieux et cocktails).
