1 review of La Trappiste

A great atmosphere

Excellent

In the center of the medieval Canterbury is an old and delicious restaurant named for the famous Trapiste, which serves typical Belgian food (although we are in England). This local place is a cross between a bar, a tea room, and a restaurant. In addition to a wide selection of beers, you can enjoy tasty dishes like the exceptional burgers served with homemade bread, or the special tea served with cream. The restaurant has a rustic feel, and each and every chair is a different style.

The terrace is splendid, and there is even a gazebo, decorated with tiny lights, which make you feel like you are surrounded by stars in the midst of these beautiful medieval buildings.
