Ancient palace now a hotel
Situated in the foothills of Chamundi Hill, t is the second most important palace of Mysore even though it is now being used as a luxury hotel. Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV ordered its Renaissance style construction in 1921 as a residence for the Viceroy of India during his stay in the city.
