L'Antico Castello Sul Mare

The view of the castle from the road made us make a stop here on the way to Portofino so we spent a few hours in this interesting town of the Italian coast. You'll fall in love with the old castle on the sea from the first moment you see it. A beautiful reflection in the water. A rather strange location with a touch of romance it's in an area that doesn't normally have this type of castle. Its story begins in times of battles with pirates and privateers, where it was necessary to build bastions of defense to preserve the Tigullio Gulf. Today it is a must see because inside you can enjoy exhibits and workshops.
