Lighthouse of Sines

It's in a beautiful green area, although still rather industrial. It opened in April 1880, and it has an altitude of 56 meters and 22-meter cylindrical tower with a 2nd order device fixed white light gas and oil lamp, giving a range of 25 miles. In the year 1915, the unit was changed to March 1 st order, extending its range to 30 miles. In the year 1950 is was converted into an aeromarine lighthouse, and the alteration of the light source became 42 miles. Location: Cape of Sines [37 º 57 '.65 N, 8 º 52' .74 W]
