Calm green waters
The Limmat River divides Zurich into two parts. On one side is the more historical section and the other side makes up the financial core. Just past this, the river empties into the beautiful Zurichsee Lake. Its calm green waters invite you to relax and, on sunny days, its banks are filled with locals eager to feel those rays of sun that are more unusual around here than they would like.
