A fun ride
Liverpool One is a shopping center. During the Christmas holidays, it has a Ferris wheel for a few weeks. You can admire the festive decorations around the city from the inside of the closed cabins, getting away from the winter cold. The price is pretty decent (I paid 6 GBP, as an adult), and I think it's free for children under 12. Perfect for a ride after an afternoon of shopping!
