Maastricht

Maastricht is about 220 km south of the capital Amsterdam, and with 125,000 people living there it is the biggest city in the Netherlands. We went to Maastricht drive from Liege, only about 20 minutes by highway. All the addresses indicated parking, and the city center was closed due to traffic! After more than half an hour walking around it rained, we found a place not far from the center. The center is very welcoming, especially around St. Servatius and draws attention to see lots and lots of bicycles everywhere! It is a very green city and maintained and even uncomfortable, it is appreciated that this restricted traffic.
